Fraction and Decimal Games for Grades 4-6

Come prepared to play games and learn strategies to help your students understand and develop deep knowledge of the following fraction concepts: fraction equivalency, equivalency between fractions and decimal, and some simple operations with fractions. Handout will contain gameboards, fraction estimator, as well as concept skill checklists for assessment. Ideas can be integrated immediately into your program and used whole class, small group or in center instruction. Games are easily differentiated and integrate the use of cards and regular dice. COME PREPARED TO PLAY!
