Film studies are often accompanied by a list of frames and angles, but often students fail to connect these technical aspects to the filmmakers intentions for the audience. This session will help to bridge that gap, drawing clear connections between how a film is constructed, and how that construction creates meaning and emotion for the audience.

Shane Lawrence

Shane has been teaching for 19 years. In that time, he's taught everything from English to Photography, Drama to Computers. Through it all, he's developed a passion for creativity and creation which he now explores through teaching Art, Film, Drama, and Technology.
