Pickleball is an action packed sport that combines elements of Badminton, Tennis and Ping Pong. It is a low impact/high energy sport and the rules are very easy to learn, which makes it accessible to players of various ages and skill levels and is perfect for including in physical education programs in schools. For the first 2 hours of this session, participants will gain a fundamental understanding of the game including basic rules, where to stand, simple shot making, how to keep score and how to play in a round robin setting. The final half hour of the session will contain drill samples and lesson planning support for teaching Pickleball in the Physical Education Classroom. *No experience required to join this session!
