Do we want an America in which most of us don’t consider ourselves “math people”? Where math proficiency goes down as students grow up? Or do we want a country where everyone can understand the math that undergirds our society—and can help shape it? We invite you to join the filmmakers behind the eye-opening docu- mentary COUNTED OUT, as we empower advocates, organizers, educa- tors and leaders across the country to host local film screenings of the film and imagine a world in which everyone can sit at the mathematical table.
