There would be 4 half day sessions. Session #1: The Fundamental Theorem of Calculus This presentation will include a discussion of the “area-so-far” function and its use in discovering the FTC. We will discuss the connection between differentiation and integration, the analysis of functions, and the definite integral in net change problems.

Session #2: Particle Motion: Straight Line and in the Plane This presentation will include background, definitions, and AP Calculus language associated with particle motion along a straight line (AB topic) and in the plane (BC topic). We will solve several particle motion problems analytically and with technology, and we will discuss the scoring of a typical AP Calculus particle motion problem.
