KINDER COUNTS - OH THE MATH THEY NEED TO KNOW! Early Primary Math Games and Strategies
Thursday February 27, 2025 1:00pm - 2:00pm MST
Come prepared to play my favorite math games and learn strategies that focus on the following concepts: counting to 5, 10, 20, counting forward and back from a given number, using number lines to count with patterns, comparing numbers and quantity, make 5, 10, doubles strategies. This very basic workshop will help you build K concepts that lay the foundation for Grade 1/2 operational fluency and place value concepts. All games can be used whole class or in small groups/center and are easy to differentiate to meet the needs of all students. Games will integrate this use of cards, dice, number lines. Handout will contain gameboards and assessment skill checklists. If you have struggling primary grade 1- 3 students or ELL, this workshop will help you rebuild concepts. BE READY TO PLAT IN ITHIS FAST PACED WORKSHOP.
