About me
Krista Leddy is a proud Métis artist and Knowledge Holder whose family comes from the historical Métis communities of St. Albert, Lac St. Anne, and Jasper House. She currently calls amiskwaciywâskahikan (Edmonton) home. Her artwork is influenced by the beautiful teachings, stories, and patterns of her Métis relatives and ancestors, bringing that spirit into all of her pieces. Krista is passionate around her culture, sharing the depth and wealth of Métis identity through art and story. For nearly 20 years, Krista has been sharing Métis culture and identity in educational spaces throughout Alberta.
