About me
Rae-Anne Kerr has been a Speech-Language Pathologist for over 16 years and is passionate about professional development. She is always trying to learn more so she can do better for her students and her colleagues. Rae-Anne owns a private practice in Calgary, Alberta and has a team of exceptional SLPs working for her. She specializes in children with severe speech sound disorders and children with executive functioning needs. Over her career, she has learned that if children are behind in their learning that has to be a 'why!" If we can figure out what is impacting their ability to learn, we can support and nurture that so they are more available to learn! Often, these kids have executive functioning difficulties and getting to the bottom of each child's needs has become her passion. Rae-Anne has worked in hospitals, schools, preschools and daycares before starting her own private practice in 2021. She is a mom to two boys, one of which has multiple disabilities. As a mother of a disabled child, I’ve learned the power of resilience, patience, and perseverance. This journey has shaped my unwavering belief in never giving up and continually reaching for the stars, both in my personal life and professional practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.
