About me
Rae-Anne Kerr has been a Speech-Language Pathologist for over 16 years and is passionate about meeting kids where they are at and supporting their individual needs. Rae-Anne owns a private practice in Calgary, Alberta and has a team of exceptional SLPs working for her. She specializes in children from age 1-6 years old. Over her career, she has learned that if a child is behind in their learning that has to be a 'why!" If we can figure out what is impacting their ability to learn, we can support and develop those skills that so they are more available to learn from their environment! Often, these kids have executive functioning difficulties and getting to the bottom of each child's needs has become her passion. She is a mom to two boys, one of which has multiple disabilities. As a mother of a disabled child, I’ve learned the power of resilience, patience, and perseverance. Understanding executive functioning and using this lens to see my kids and my students has shaped my skills in both in my personal life and professional life. I am excited to share ideas and support teachers in this executive functioning journey because it is a game changer!
