About me
Hi, I’m Emma! I am the heart and hands behind ArtVentures. With a deep-seated passion for art and education, I embarked on this journey to offer something distinct in the realm of art exploration and learning. I founded ArtVentures with the goal of bringing authentic art making opportunities to Edmontonians both inside and outside of traditional studio spaces. In 2017, I left my job at the Art Gallery of Alberta and started up ArtVentures. I began with humble classes taught from my home studio, in-home parties, and in-school field trips. As my business and class sizes grew, I started partnering with other great local venues and businesses, hosting out of established studios, breweries, and cafes in Edmonton. Today, I work with an incredible variety of clients across Alberta! I bring quality, tailored programming to schools, corporate clients, festival & event planners, and private groups of all ages with various needs and abilities. All my projects, workshops, and pop-up art activities are meticulously designed to demystify the creative process, making art accessible and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of their artistic background or perceived ability. I love taking on custom projects to help make your event, program, or conference a success.
