Karen Filewych has over twenty-five years of educational experience as an elementary teacher, school administrator, and language arts consultant. In 2007, she completed her Master of Education degree in the area of literacy. Karen has four books published by Pembroke Publishers: How Do I Get Them to Write?, Freewriting with Purpose, Literacy Leadership Matters, and her latest release Literacy Instruction Matters. She is the senior author of Bug Club Morphology and wrote seven Bug Club Phonics decodable books with Pearson Canada. Karen enjoys sharing her love of literacy with teachers and students.
