About me
Jen is currently an Education & Behaviour Programming Consultant with Edmonton Public Schools' Specialized Learning Supports (SLS) Team. She brings a wealth of experience in special education with a diverse background spanning multiple classroom environments across two decades. A passionate advocate for neurodiversity-affirming practices and student body autonomy, Jen is dedicated to fostering an educational environment that respects and uplifts all students. In addition to her professional pursuits, she is a wife to an Assistant Principal and mother of two, including one autistic daughter, which fuels her advocacy and understanding in the unique challenges faced by families in similar situations. Outside of her consulting and mothering roles, you might find Jen singing in one of her choirs, bike riding, camping or generally out somewhere in nature.
