About me
I am a Partner at Patterson Law and practice primarily management-side labour and employment law. I am also a certified workplace investigator. I have conducted numerous investigations into complaints of harassment, sexual harassment and inappropriate workplace conduct as the investigator and prepared thorough reports for clients with a clear analysis and well supported findings. These investigations have been conducted pursuant to internal workplace policies as well as the Canada Labour Code. As a lawyer, I have directed over one hundred investigations by in-house and external investigators in all areas of the law, including harassment and human rights complaints. Many of the investigations I have conducted as an investigator or directed as a lawyer have been complex, with multiple allegations and counter allegations, and multiple parties. My experience includes investigations against members of senior management and Board members.
