About me
I am originally from Columbia, South Carolina, and I have recently graduated from Metropolitan State University in Denver, Colorado, where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. I have a strong passion for teaching and for supporting the growth and development of young minds. Throughout my academic journey, I had the honor of serving as both President and Outreach Coordinator for the Call Me MiSTER program, a nationally recognized teacher leadership initiative. In these roles, I worked with schools and districts across the nation, planning and organizing initiatives to support educational excellence. My career ambitions are to become a principal, and I plan to continue my education by pursuing a Master’s in Educational Leadership and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership. My goal is to one day help shape and lead schools that foster an environment of inclusivity, support, and academic growth. In addition to my professional and academic pursuits, I am an active member of the SC Education Association, SC Alliance of Black School Educators, National Association of Multicultural Education, Call Me MiSTER, and Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity. I deeply believe in the power of community involvement and education to create lasting positive change. I am committed to creating a positive and nurturing learning environment where each student can thrive academically and personally
