About me
Randolph Su is an Indigenous educator that teaches Grades 7 - 9 at Bessie Nichols School. He coaches the Nighthawks ESports team, focusing on Valorant, but also helps lead the afterschool Tabletop Club. Randolph sees the use of gaming, be it digital or on the tabletop, as an opportunity to create foundational skills and to develop a healthier mindset in his students. He understands how games often give students the chance to become part of a group or team, alternative to sports and more athletic pursuits. Randolph's more recent educational focus has been around creating a scholastic ESports program within Edmonton Public Schools, to create a network of staff and coaches to expand and foster the growing community here in the greater Edmonton Area.
