About me
With over 20 years of experience in educational leadership and health promotion, Tsion Abate moves conversations beyond the basics to dig deeper. She explores the nuances of daily school experiences and challenges associated with teaching students with FASD. She has worked in developing community alliances, co-designed and implemented national collaborations, and advised on curricular reform that is grounded in diversity, inclusion, and equity. She holds a Master of Education degree in Education Policy Studies with specialty in Theoretical, Cultural, and International Education & Policy frameworks. She now works as an FASD Instructional Coach with the WRaP 2.0 Project.
